Cleaning red paint out of brushes
Maybe it is just me, but it seems like red paint is much harder to clean out of my brushes than other colors. Why is that? Is there a trick to make it easier? What is the best way to clean brushes in general?

Amen to that----I just learned the hard way with Insignia Blue Acryl. Ended up doing a complete teardown, including the air plunger and spring assembly.kenlilly106 wrote:Red and blue pigments are notoriously difficult to remove from brushes, one of the old-time recommendations if you're going to paint a lot of reds or blues is to use a separate brush for each color family.
