Gunze Sangyo Paints

Post by mbuk77 »

Hi All

Does anybody know where I can buy the above Mr Color paints in the UK?

I can find Mr Hobby aqueous paints here and was also wondering if anybody has any experience using them? Are they any good? What's the best thinner and ratios to use for airbrushing them?

Thanks in advance.

I hate to disappoint you, but Gunz Sangyo paints do not comply with UK/EU regulations so are next to impossible to get here. You can get the Gundarm markers because they are covered by ink legislation, not paint - even though it's the same damned stuff instide!

IIRC ModelZone used to do Gunz Sangyo and individual stores may have old stock, but they will not post it to you.

To be recommended are Xtracolor/Xtracrylix (really expensive) from Wonderland Models and (IMO better & cheaper), Vallejo paints can me got from Modelsforsale.com or ModelZone. Modelsforsale also do the Gunz Sangyo Gundam Markers.
