After getting this paintjob done I only have the clear coat left to do. I'm reluctant to clear coat it because I'm happy with the paintjob and am afraid of clearing it and losing the appearance.
What would be your suggestions? What is the most user friendly clear? The last space ship I used Testor's dull coat and that made it look more 'toy' like.
I appreciate any and all advice

To Clear or Not to Clear?
So Many Models... So Little Time...
There's absolutely nothing that says you have to clear coat a model. Usually it will help make it look more realistic for the scale, but not everyone does it. If you're getting some subtle effects that would be lost by clear coating it, then I would leave it. Especially if you don't like Dullcote, which is probably the most popular and one of the best clears.
