Glue question - thinning Gorilla Glue?
So I would like to thin some Gorilla Glue to try to reduce some of the creaking in the bathroom floor (concrete). The crack is too thin for the "crack fixer" stuff from the hardware store. It would have to be water thin, instead of the thick and gooey straight from the bottle.
Anyone ever try this? I'm thinking some non-polar solvent: toluene, acetone, ethanol or something.
Thoughts?
Kev

Don't they make a thin 'superglue'-type adhesive now?
If a redhead works at a bakery, does that make him a gingerbread man?

Thinning Gorilla Glue is just too much work. You need this type of super-thin CA:

I've tried using my 'hypodermic needle', but alcohol softened the needle. I pushed the plunger too soon anyway, so it just dripped on the floor...TREKKRIFFIC wrote:Try shooting it into the crack with a hypodermic syringe...
Sheer elegance in its simplicity.
Political unrest in dictatorships is rather like a round of rock-paper-scissors: The oposition goes on denouncing the regime on the papers, the regime censors the papers, rock-throwing ensues.

Yes. You need a metal needle syringe. Problem is getting ahold of one.Chacal wrote:I've tried using my 'hypodermic needle', but alcohol softened the needle.
