My scratch-built early Klingon battlecruiser

Post by Volon44 »

I built this some years ago, and thought it was lost in a move--until I recently found it. This is my take on an early Klingon battlecruiser, inspired by Star Trek: Enterprise. I actually built this before the show aired.

Would love to see it, but your site appears to be down. Can't even get DNS resolution on it.

The site did not work for me either - 10:15 CST.
I will keep trying back every so often.

I don't understand why this isn't working for so many people. But somebody on another board has also stated he's having problems viewing it with Safari. The link's working for me right now. I'll check with the hosting company.

Thanks. The problem seems to be that it can only be seen by people who use certain browsers. I still have yet to get a response form my host, which means it's very likely I won't get an answer from them. So I'm going to move the site to a new host.

Yeah, this just doesn't make any sense at all. I see the site, and so do certain other people--yet a lot of folks like yourself can't see it at all.

Definately time to change hosts. I just have find the time now to move the site.

My thanks to all of you here who've let me know about this problem!

Do you have an IP address for your website? We could do this without DNS resolution.

I also tried to load the page, and it didn't work. However... I tried to link directly to the main page (http://seansmodels.com) and it worked. Even better, after the main site loaded, I tried the full link again and it worked. I have no idea why, but it did.
Sheer elegance in its simplicity.

Political unrest in dictatorships is rather like a round of rock-paper-scissors: The oposition goes on denouncing the regime on the papers, the regime censors the papers, rock-throwing ensues.

Through a seach of Sitedossier, I managed to find the IP address of 209.63.57.10, however still no connection. Now if you can't get a connection through an IP address there has got to be a problem (providing that's the correct IP address). Perhaps the people who do have access have the same ISP?

Worked okay for me now, even though I was the guy "on another board has also stated he's having problems viewing it with Safari".

Pretty cool design for an early Klingon ship. Maybe a bit of Leif Ericson going on? Would tie it in nicely with Matt Jeffries designs.

Thanks, Jim! Glad you're able to see it.

I'm not getting any response from the site host, which makes me think they have no idea, or don't care. Whatever. I'm looking into getting a new host now.
