WTB: Ultra Small LEDs

Post by ScottV »

I'm looking buy some very small LEDs (red and clear), maybe 2 - 3 mm in diameter. Voltage will 1 - 3 volts.

Any ideas of good sources? I've seen LED that are bigger but need a more scale size (simulating aviation avoidance lights on model wind turbines).

Thanks
Scott

What? 2-3mm? I thought you said ultra small LEDs... XD

I was going to recommend buying 0603-size LEDs (1.6mm x 0.8mm) from Mouser or EBay...

There are even 0402 LEDs: 1mm x 0.5mm.
Sheer elegance in its simplicity.

Political unrest in dictatorships is rather like a round of rock-paper-scissors: The oposition goes on denouncing the regime on the papers, the regime censors the papers, rock-throwing ensues.
