Scratch Built 1/175 Refit A Update
Been posting in the Trek section but haven't posted here in a while. I have an updated cover photo and a few new build photos on my build up web page.
Making progress, thanks for looking...

That HAS to be awkward to whoosh around the house.
Apart from that, great work. Nice to see traditional model woodworking methods put to good use.

Sheer elegance in its simplicity.
Political unrest in dictatorships is rather like a round of rock-paper-scissors: The oposition goes on denouncing the regime on the papers, the regime censors the papers, rock-throwing ensues.

That is amazing!!!
Ok I am now enlisting in Star Fleet as long as I can be assigned to that ship!!! Congrats on an amazing build!!
Why just build the kits you see, buy some plastic, an xacto and some glue and see what you can throw together.
I would like to see more.
You know, I had this idea of super stacking parts. Imagine I get a replica of your bridge, shave off the top--and place a 1/350 scale bridge atop that. Repeat. Place a 1/537 atop that, and so on to a pin-point, desguising each layer a bit to where I have an odd ziggerat.
Same with secondary hulls. In the TOS Ent, you have these two blocky projections to either side of the nav-dish setting. Each of those would be discrete secondary hulls (the aft ends cut and puttied to flare into the larger sec hull. Repeat--turtles all the way down.
A fractal model where you see the same structures repeating while zooming in.
Something to think about.
