Need to convert AC to DC

Post by littleyoda99 »

So I need a nice small circuit to convert AC to DC power within a circuit I am doing (mainly because I screwed up in the early stages and built everything with a DC power source... then got a couple extra circuits for it that used AC power (otherwise I would fry them), so I had to switch.

So what I am looking for is a simple, small way to convert the AC power to DC for just 1 particular little line in my jumble of crap...

You need a full wave bridge rectifier and a capacitor(s) to filter any remaining wave fluctuations

It would be easier to use a 6V unregulated wall wart and use a voltage regulator like the LM7805 or 7812, etc.

What kind of current are you looking to use?
