Taipan Class Hover tank

The challenge: build any kind of hover tank without using a tank kit's hull or turret - because nothing saus 'fun' like 70 tons of floating mayhem.

Sweet! Sort of Steam Punk-ish feel to it. Like it!

:) Thanks folks, yes steampunk is a style i do like and i thought a tank without massive armour and just outright fire power to survive was a bit off a change. It must be the fact that i compete in battlebot comps here in oz that i decided to go all out on the weapons.

Very nice! I can almost hear the old Buster Crabbe 'Flash Gordon' and 'Buck Rogers' spaceship sound effects.

I too like the Steampunk feel of this.

Clever use of gadgetry
It's not a toy!.... it's an accurate scale representation of a craft that doesn't actually exist.

Quite ingenious! The mounting of the phlogiston accumulators is
especially clever.

Very cool, indeed. I'm also a fan of steampunk and this is a fine example.

And powered by crystals, too!

Can't get any more New-age Environmentally Responsible Destruction than that! :D
