A little X wing inspiration
This was a model I haven't finished, I got to an impasse on the cockpit framing etc and have left it, but I thought you might like to see it, the bottom wasn't finished and bar the rear nozzle which is a deodorant cap, the rest is plastic card, plastic rod and strut, with just a little ally mesh used in car repairs added

I LOVE THIS! It would be right at home in the Firefly universe.

Is that a pick ax and sledge hammer on the right wing? YES. In case the 105mm cannons on the overly-piped wings fail, the pilot can jump out there and throw heavy objects at the enemy! So cool!
Seriously, The only thing I don't like is the front end where I can see the base styrene plastic showing under the nice paint job you did. Cap it. Fill it. Paint it black, anything to blend it into the rest of the model!

Make it look like a crash scene. Reminds me of artwork done by Chris Foss for a book with a crashed spacecraft and the pilots skeleton still in the cockpit.KWSTAS wrote:I like it a lot.Now build a base as a small diorama so it looks like crushed and abandoned.

Today is a good day to model!
