Looking for old FSM scratch built stuff

Post by DAK23 »

Howdy. New to this forum.

I haven't built anything in years, especially anything scratch built, but I recall seeing something in an old FSM (can't recall year or issue) that has a nifty little Next Generation era shuttlepod. It looked like this:

If anyone here knows of the issue or has the original diagrams/materials list I'd be grateful.

I enjoyed building it years ago, and now want to get back into it. Heck, I even made a decent looking PADD.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the forums!

I have the issue at home, along with its templates. I'm at work right now. I get off at 0500 EST and won't have a chance to peruse the stacks until tomorrow afternoon/evening. But, I do have it. I'll see if I can scan them in.

PM me your email address.

Kenny

Cool. I'll check that out, as well. The one I was thinking of used plastic sheeting (It's been so long, I can't even remember the names of the materials). Styrene, something like that...

You can go to the FSM site and check the back issues guide. I recall it was mid 90's - ish.

The guide IIRC is in pdf and is searchable.

Contact Matt Usher, the editor at FSM. He's a big-time sci-fi modeler and probably has what you're looking for in the files.

They did have a collection for digital download, with the Elbaz article included.

Here's the link:

$4.95 ain't bad considering.

Thanks, all! One of you kind folks emailed me the diagrams form the old FSM issue! I'm going to have fun with it and get my scratch building skills back up to date.
