Question about 1/350 PL Refit Lighting

Hello,

I recently purchased the PL 1/350 Refit Enterprise along with the TrekModeler pre-assembled lighting kit. I've also purchased a 9V chaser light kit to add to the shuttle bay as I've seen helipilot27 do in his excellent youtube tutorial. My question is where is the best place to spice this kit into the Trekmodeler lighting kit? Helipilot27 mentioned he found a place to do this but I'm unclear where? I'm no wiring or electronics expert (obviously). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I spliced my chaser board into one set of power wires from the main plug that comes into the model.

Yes thats the best spot, i spliced mine in there although never put it in thats where it worked the best
