Does anyone have any experience using a product called 'Casting Craft Transparent Dye'?

I have a large clear acrylic dome that I need to have coated with a transparent amber color for a sci-fi costume project:

While I have used Tamiya's Transparents in the past, I already had this stuff on hand, and just wanted to check for other folks' experiences - do's and don'ts.

I've used it with the suggested resin - gives a good even spread and can be made barely there to a medium dark color depending on how much you add to the base
The resin itself is somewhat a pain - a few drops of catalyst to a few ounces of resin - and this is what I got the toaster-oven for - couple hours at 150f yields the best results
