Navigation/Flasher Board
I'm trying to save a few $$$ and want to build my own Navigation/Flaser board. How do I do this and what do I need to buy to make it? Thanks in advance. I should add that I'm doing this on a 1/350 PL Refit.
Are you asking how to create an LED flasher board from scratch?
Honestly, I think your best bet is to get the Federation Flasher board from DLM parts.

Honetsly, if you've spent the money on the 1/350 Refit and you're trying to do it right, it's probably your best bet.
The simplest (and cheapest) LED flasher board that I know of can be found here:

I do know that the All Electronics board will work with 1.8 mm white LEDs, but I have not tried to connect additional LEDs in parallel, so I don't know what the result would be.
Best of luck,

ALCLSC89,
I actually have what you need. However, it is not a kit but a complete 'Plug & Play' system. It comes with a set of Red/Green/White LEDs and by moving the jumpers about, you will have different blinking rates for the Red/Green Navigation and White strobes for the following ships:
1. Enterprise 1701-A: The Motion Picture,
2. Enterprise 1701-A: The Undiscovered Country,
3. Enterprise NX-01, and
4. Enterprise 1701: 2009 Enterprise (aka JJPrise)
Unfortunately, I am not releasing it yet although I was contemplating doing so earlier in the year. The main reason is that I have not completed designing the rest of the modules such as deflector dish, impulse & warp engines, photon torpedoes and so on. Lastly, I might change the JJPrise strobes to that of the original TOS 1701 since Polar Lights are coming out with the 1/350 model.
Yeah, I know, its like a shameful plug....
(edited: Sorry I forgot to put in the linky to the piccy)
