Best LEDs for Spotlights - Enterprise Refit

I am using 3mm - white LEDs, but I wanted to know if anyone had any specific "go to" LEDs for this. Viewing angle and brightness, lumens etc.

Flat LEDs have been used by some for spotlight effects. I have no experience with them though.

I have purchased other LEDs from these guys. Link is to flat 2mm x 4mm.
