Better option for cutting brass tubing
Morning everyone. I am looking for a way to cut small diameter brass tubing. I've tried using a hack saw, works fine, but I need to cut smaller pieces for a flash suppressor on several barrels for the AMT/Ertl MF. I've tried a rotorary tool, but I am not getting a a good cut. (Might be the no-name disk being used)
If there is another option fir cutting small diameter tubing in 1/16 or 1/8 pieces any help would be greatly apprecuated.

Seriously! I am going to put my head down. Way too simple, even I can manage this.

Re: Better option for cutting brass tubing
If you have a mini drill (Dremel style), invest some bucks into a diamond cutter disk. Yes, it's expensive, but goes through anything (even steel!) like a knife through butter. Very clean results for me, even with just a small engraving pencil that has considerably less power than a Dremel tool!ulvdemon wrote:Morning everyone. Was able to pick up a dremel style tool from harbor Freight. (In case I broke it, no harm). Works great for cutting the brass tubing. Thank you everyoen for the suggestions. I will have to invest in the diamond cutter disk for certain though.
