Led light strips, cool or warm

What is best when using led strips for starship window lighting...cool or warm white led strips?

Cool or warm white has nothing to do with the heat range of the lights. Leds run cool compared to other lighting.
"cool white" simply means a pure white light.
"warm white" has a yellowish tinge to the light that it emits.

So, it depends on the look you're after.

I think he gets that cool white don't run any cooler temperature-wise.

Personally I think that warm white work better for windows. They're similar to incandescent bulbs, which are what you're used to seeing in a window.

I'm about to embark on a set of warm white interior Federation lighting. I am betting on that, but give me a month or two and I should be able to demonstrate some effect... I hope...

Cool white LEDs typically have a bit of a bluish tint to them.

for federation ships i use cool white and for alien ships i use warm
