Buck Rogers Scorpion / Gnat / Anopheles enemy starfighter?

I think there was a resin kit of this a few years back - SMT? Alfred Wong? Anyway, I was looking to build the enemy starfighter from the BR TV series. I have the Thunder Fighter and will soon have the Draconian Marauder (non-Monogram kits) but I really always wanted to build this baby. If the kit is still out there, let me know, please.

Does anyone have any info on the kits used? Offhand, I'd say the cockpit is a Huey Cobra (Super Cobra?), the body looks like a MiG or SU on top and maybe a F-14 / F-15 on bottom. Not sure where the rocket pods came from but the missiles look like US AGM Mavericks or maybe even Phoenix missiles (which would lend credence to the F14 parts).

If anyone has a link to a previous post on this fighter, I'd appreciate it. I did a search and didn't come up with anything and Ken Larson doesn't sound like he's the kind of guy that wants to be disturbed with questions about what kits went into a 25 year old model from a long ago GALarson TV series.

Yes! So it was Alfred ... I thought so. I always intended to pick this kit up but never did and before I knew it, SMT was history. Thank you for the link. Alfred's pics give me a lot better images of what to go by than the other site.

I think you are right on the money for the F-14 and the Super Cobra.

It looks to me if Alfred used the F-14 body and glued the intakes on the reverse side of the F-14. It probably wasn't the following model, but something similar.

The rocket pods look like Soviet Mi-24 style ones, but I think I saw older US style ones with the same layout. Here is a shot of the Mi-24 one.

Pretty certain, that the original studio model, was done, using the Revellogram 1/32 Scale Cobra forward fuselage... and the Monogram 1/48 scale rear fuselage, and intakes. It's possible that the Revell 1/32 scale rear fuselage was used...but I'm pretty certain it was the smaller 1/48 scale fuselage, from what I've seen in the build photographs. That's a start at any rate... With it being a Television project, and the definition (in those days) not being all that great? Apogee wanted to utilize as big a model as they could. With a Movie, your screen resolution is much higher...but not television...at least not in the late seventies, early eighties. I remember this ship, from Buck Rogers. Probably one of the better realized designs.

There's some A-10 engine nacelles on there as well. That thing looks like it was built as a "best of the 70s" U.S. aircraft amalgamation.

Out of curiosity went to find out if there was any thread over at theRPF and alas, while there is one, there doesn't seem to be any pics of the build. From the discussion it does seem to be as a foundation a 1/48 scale f-14(s) married to a 1/32 AH-1G, and some Harrier missile launchers

Too bad the hartland pics are so small. From what I make out, the forward fuselage uses the intake area of the f-14 down, but puts the rear of the f-14 upside down. I don't think it has A-10 parts; just the f-14 tail. It does seem to have the horizontal stabilizer of the 1/144 Revell 747 shuttle carrier mounted in reverse and cut down to fit the inverse taper. The weird area is under that tail. It is very greeblied and looks to me like the topside of a tank hull like a t-34 or panther, with a heel shaped part on top, which is reminiscent of a cut down turret or just a turret part.
