Fate of the finished models??

Post by Johnnycrash »

With the end nearing of this little adventure... It crossed my mind as to what will happen to the models after we are done, and WonderFest is all wrapped up. I don't remember what happened with those from the first round.

So??

I know that's not what the instructions say, but the kit's wrong anyway.

I'm planning on including a return label so whoever I ship the kit to for transport to Kentucky will be able to send the kit back to me after WonderFest. Then our team can decide on the ultimate fate of the kit (ie - whose bookshelf it ends up on).
Captain Pike: Don't make me laugh.
Commander Burnham: Fortunately for you, I was raised on Vulcan. We don't do funny.
Captain Pike: Ha! (ouch)
Commander Burnham: Maybe I should just shut up.

Math Problem: Sam has 100 model kits, Frank takes 10 model kits ... what does Sam have?
Answer: 100 model kits and a corpse.

i too(to,two, wich ever to it is. never have quite got the hang of that) was wondering where they would go. if no one else from my team wants her i'll throw my hat in the ring to give ours a good home. i'll pay shipping from where ever to me.
i love it when a plan comes together

To = directional, as in "I'm going to build something."

Too = also -> think of it as stealing the extra "o" from "also"
It also can be used to indicate "a higher degree than is desirable, permissible, or possible; excessively", as in "This model is taking too long."

Two = number (written form)

I'm going to have two eggs, too - is that too many?
=
I'm going to have 2 eggs also - is that excessive?.

I think, with the first Traveling Models, it came down to the person who showed any interest in keeping it, got it. Since they tended to be large, it really came down to whomever had the most shelf-space available. :)

I'll bring the Hoser's back to Canada at least.

Cool.

I would like to lay claim to the Octaginta Novem, if I could. :D

I could easily build another one, of course. And I am in the process of scratching a 1/32 version (the current one is 1/72). I may send the 1/32 to Blap as well to paint. I never seem to get to the painting. :(

Hrmmm... We shall see. Possession is 9/10ths of the law after all. ;)
