Any good (non-thick) white decal paper recommendations?

Post by TurkeyVolumeGuessingMan »

When I lived in America, I tried the Testors decal paper for ink jet printers. Too thick. Here in Japan, I've bought the Fine Molds decal paper and while the clear is just great, the white is too thick. It's really caused me to rethink some plans I've made for some kits.

Are there any good white decal paper products that are thin? I can't seem to find any here in Japan. I have an Italeri Super Cobra kit I'd like to build up like the G.I. Joe Dragonfly. Thanks in advance.

One day I was walking and I found this big log. Then I rolled the log over and underneath was a tiny little stick. And I was like, "That log had a child!"

Papilio. Opaque but very thin.

Oh wait... This is for inkjet. What about laser printers?

Swanks! Seriously, there seems to be a dearth of white decal paper options here in Japan. There's an inkjet one, but I print stuff out at work on laser printers since my own printer is very spotty. Fine Molds seems to be the only option, and it kinda sucks. I might have to order this Papillo and have it sent to me here.

EDIT: Well, that's interesting! They don't offer it in their online store. Can only find the clear stuff on Amazon, too. Weird.
