Need 1/48 palm trees and a quonset hut....

Anybody know a good source for these? I thought of O-scale railroad accessories, but alas, LHS had nada.

Pretty nice looking but may be pricey. I seem to recall a FSM issue with an article on making your own. I could be wrong.

Chris, I see that you live in Greeley. The next time you are in the Denver area, stop by Caboose Hobbies, on Broadway in Denver. It is the finest model railroad shop within a thousand miles, really. I've never looked for palm trees nor quonset huts there, but if anybody has them, Caboose does. You can also reconnoiter via their website, caboosehobbies.com.

I have a couple sets of palm trees by Preiser for sale.
They work well for 72nd or 48th (but a little small for 35th).

Yeah, I might run down there, Badwrench. I'll be down there this Saturday anyway, so I guess it wouldn't hurt to stop by.
Various internet searches turned up this and that, which I may go with if I have to, but not much option in O scale, or 1/48.

Caboose Hoobies will make you mind whirl. I think I loose $10 every time I walk through the door. And if they don't have if I don't know who would.

Other than maybe Colpar, but they might need ot order it.

Would you guys believe I've lived in CO all my life and never been to Caboose Hobbies? There must be some sort of travesty in that.

That is a travesty, tho' it took me 7 years before I visited it.

Just wait till you see all the little photo-etch niddly bits.
