Looking ! Dupont laquer non sandable dark gray primer sealer

the title says it all...just so ya all know, this is an ongoing quest for me , been searching for quite some time for this primer, no luck anyone got any?

Hmm...

I've never heard of it. You robably already know this, but not all primer says "sandable." Are you sure what you're looking for explicitly says "non-sandable?"

I'm just wonderin' where you saw the name. I've never seen any labled as "non-sandable." But, I have seen a lot that didn't say "sandable" in the name.

Have you tried a body shop? They might know of a source. It might be something that's only meant to be shot through a spraygun, or airbrush in our case.

I'm not much help, I know.

Get thee to a body shop supply store. Ask for either Dupont 131 or 210...

It's basically the same stuff as Mr. Surfacer.

thanks for the replies gents...thing is, i got this info from the guy himself...it is a sealer finisher, and he explicitly stated the non sandable in a qt or pint can, not spray...
the important thing here is the color, dark gray in color but with a distinct blue hue...... the trouble is that most states have banned the sale of laquer based primers, this stuff hasnt been on the market for at least 10 years I'm hoping to find someone in perhaps a desert area state that doesnt have this banned issue or perhaps has a can of this stuff laying around

131 and 210 don't have the color of the old stuff any longer..had a buddy of mine pour both with all the diff "value" shades onto a paint can lid.not right shade or hue bummer....

Hmm...I thought just about all primers were lacquer-based. Or, do you mean in the pint cans?
