Laquer Thinner?

So, I got a passle of testers Metalizer and they suggest laquer thinner.. do i really NEED laquer thinner? or is turpentine fine? how about turpanoid (which is what I actually have on hand)??

The Testors buffing metalizers come pre-thinned. You don't need to add anything to them to get them to spray right. (In fact, thinning them is counterproductive). I believe the reccommentations on the bottle are for cleanup. And that is another nice thing about metalizers, they are the easiest paints in the world to clean up. Turpentine and turpenoid work well, but I just use ordinary hardware-store paint thinner, the kind that comes in a gallon can for two bucks.

Let us know what you think of the metalizers. I've sworn by them for several years now.
