Smooth on starter set question

Post by Gstealer »

I've been looking at purchasing one of the starter sets and I was wondering how much is a "working sample".

I would like to cast at least five 3" diameter, 1/4" deep vents and was wondering if there was enough in the set to do it.

Thanks,

If its the same $20 starter set they were selling a coupl eof years ago, then its plenty to do what you want.

Get the 321 resin, if you can. It gives you alittle more time to work with than 300

Too late...I picked up the starter set with the 300.. I didn't see set with the 321.

I wish it had a longer pot time, but for $25 I guess I'll try it out. If it doesn't work maybe I'll look for someone who can cast them up for me..

Thanks

Longer pot life is nice, but it's not crucial. You can do what you need with the kit you got.
