Hole Templates ???

Hole Templates ???
Does anyone know of a manufaturer or distributor of metal hole templates ? I have plastic ones but the xacto knife tends to cut into them when I'm scribing a hole in plastic.

Verlinden used to do a set like this in a couple of scales - 1/48 and 1/72, IIRC. Mine have been used many, many times in re-scribing lost details.kylwell wrote:Besides my eraser shield there is this.

Hasegawa Tritool. Yep, I have one of them. Delicious little tool. I'm more jealous of them than of my airbrush.

Tritool is available in the SM store. Also, the Hasegawa scribing tool is da best. It won't cut like the x-acto, will let you follow templates etc. Use it lightly and make numerous passes - you will be mightily impressed.

Has anyone tried the hole scribers available in the
scrap booking area of a craft store?
They look like they would work when the hole is bigger than/in between
ones available through drilling or hole saw sizes.
I have used an old drafting tool, a set of dividers (or a compass
with two sharp points instead of one sharp and one lead) to use to
make perfect circles. The concept is the same as using the back edge of a knife blade to score the line. Yet another use for a old time
mechanical drafting tool.
Would the 'pupil part' of a doll eye, when glued in place, work as a cutting template for your application? I buy these doll eyes, cut the back a part,
and extract the pupil to use as a perfect circle for various places where
I need a circle. Cheap too.
