A320 trouble

Post by wartorres3490 »

I was wondering if anyone could help me out.

I just got the aztek a320 and using the .40mm tip, and testor mini compressor.

When ever i try to spray either it sprays and spatters or only sprays when I begin

Does anyone know how to fix this?

It sounds like you've got a really nasty clog that's interrupting the travel of the needle in that tip. You need to run a universal solvent through it that won't damage the seals.

I would try flushing it out with Castrol SuperClean a bunch. Perhaps alternating that with pure ammonia.

Let's see what the others here say about this too.

I hope this helps.

What kind of paint are you using, enamel or acrylic?
What PSI are you setting your compressor to?
What are you using to dilute your paint?

All of these can, and will affect how effective the airbrush will be.
