Question about priming before casting?
Stupid question but if I'm going to cast fron a scratchbuilt, can I still prime paint the scratchbuilt before I cast off it? Or is this a no no?

Thx for the tip. Do I need to wet sand it after priming so that I can make a mold from it? I just want to know if the primer is going to give me any trouble by adhering to the mold. Any suggestions.Umi_Ryuzuki wrote:Priming is the best way to find flaws in the Master.
If you are happy the way the model primes, a fine wet sanding may be all you need before you set it up to make a mold.

I'm not sure if this topic is covered in it. Been a while since I read through it all.
