Artist Paints Like Delta Creme Coat ect. For Model Painting

I've heard of folks using these paints, thined with future, or similer meidium for model painting. Are hey as good as traditional model paints like Tamyia, ect.?

Apple Barrel/Folk Art paints are thinner for airbrushing, Delta better for brushing on. I did spray one color on my Jem Hadar BC. It came out OK, but had some congealing in the supply bottle from the heat of the day. Best to experiment, but what a nice price for these paints!

You can get some fair results with them, but are they as good as Tamiya paints? No way.

M3 did a KBOP with Apple Barrel and it didn't look too bad.
