Greased Lightning degreaser

Post by Digger1 »

I tried and tried to strip the paint off my DS Oberth and my Vulcan Shuttle with Easy-Off Fume Free but it didn't do that good a job.

I decided to try soaking the Oberth in Greased Lightning for a while. I forgot about it for a couple of days. I took it out last night and just ran my thumbnail over the paint to see how soft it had become. The whole paint came off like cheese stuck to a pepperoni and the entire cheese of the slice of pizza comes off.

Neat-o!

I know someone will ask: Greased Lightning is a degreaser found in the cleaning products aisle at the grocery store. Comes in a white bottle with a black and yellow label.
