Painting the StarFury and Badger

Post by Antenociti »

My star Fury is ready to paint and my Badger should be ready when i next get to have a bash at the end of February.

The Fury has sat there primed for quite a while now as I've got a total mental block on how to paint it; both the scheme and the order to do it in.

For some reason i just cant figure out how to do it and thus keep putting off and off.

Anybody have an idiots guide on the order of painting/masking and so forth as well as some colour suggestion (Vallejo air colour scheme would be treble useful!)?

I don't know anything about Vallejo paints, and I've seen Star Furies in every color from black to white, so take your pick. Grey is most common. the Star Fury is one of those beasts that is easier to paint in sub-assemblies. Leave the top wing, guns, engine nozzles and vanes seperate for painting, if you can. If not, paint the inside surfaces first, then mask them off to avoid overspray.
I speak of the pompatous of plastic.
