It's a lacquer, so how do you do it... WIll regular paint thinner work or must I purchase lacquer remover?

Oh, dude.. this is the best friggin' tip I've ever gotten. I got the Super Clean (funny, dioesn't have the Castrol name on it anywhere) at Auto Zone, I put in on a cottonball, applied it to the affected area and voila, dullcote gone, silver Sharpie mess gone. Now I'm going to hit it with microbrushes and Q-tips for the details.Lt. Z0mBe wrote:Castrol Super Clean will remove it. Let the item soak in it. Also, Oven clean will do it as well.
Lacquer thinner will melt styrene and ABS.
