Weird question... Liquid styrene... is there such an animal?

Since I've been having such good luck using styrene and hot glue to fill my gaps, I was wondering if anyone just makes a liquid styrene that does the same thing.

Anybody know?

Gunze's pre-thinned putty I think is as close as you will get.

I just picked up a bottle of that a my LHS last weekend. Does it "clean up" (alcohol and cotton swab) like Mr Surfacer?

I use Mr thinner or Mr leveling thinner for both the Putty and Mr Surfacer.

So I think you should be good.

Didn't you ask this question on another forum a while ago?

Styrene is thermo formed. You can use a plastic solvent to dissolve it into a solution but it'll shrink as the solvent evaporates out so it's no good for gap filling. Tube glue is essentially the same thing.

Superglue! Quick, convenient and sands at a similar rate to styrene so you can blend filled areas in seamlessly.
