Source for plastic tube?
I need a small piece of 2.5" OD plastic tube, about 5 inches long. Anyone know of a good source?
Warned you we did, but listen you did not! Now screwed we all will be!

The right stuff, but I don't need six feet of it. That's the problem I'm running into. I'll keep looking. thanks though!

So you end up with extra. $17 plus s/h. Heck I've got several diameters of acrylic rod laying around here, always coming in handy.
I've ran across styrene tubing about that diameter but a foot of it cost damned near as much as 6 feet of the acrylic.
But, I will see if I can find the source again. Really need to reorganise these danged bookmarks.

Find a plumber, or even go into a plumbing supply house. Don't be afraid to ask, they usually have cut-offs left over. 2" ABS drainline should be close enough. If you strike out I can get you some as a last resort. Plumbers usually carry all that stuff home and stick it in the back yard.

I do plumbing work when I'm not on duty on base. The pipe's not quite the size I need. I finally found the Plastistruct website, and they had some there.

Hexagonal Rod/Tubing.
Didn't want to start a new thread but I'm looking for Hexagonal rod/tubing that is Plastic, Brass, or Wood. I've checked online for a while but keep coming up with either tiny diameter or custom extrusion shops. I need something about one inch diameter, anywhere from 6 inches upwards in length. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA.
