Want do you think of these compressors?

First off i see this one on a major auction site all the time

and i see this one popping up all the time as well

there both about the same price. Also the AS16 one (The one that looks like an elepahant) has very similer spec and case to the Testors mini blue one. ( http://www.testors.com/catalog_item.asp?itemNbr=1640 ) Is it the same thing rebranded? How is the testors one in comprasson?

Any thoughts on these compressors please. Please no talk of any expensive ones as i'm on a very tight budget. Thanks!!

Never seen the first one.
2nd one is a common diaphram(sic) compressors, but restrictions are a pulsing on the airflow, tends to overheat after about 15 minutes, etc.
Don't get me wrong great for some work, but not a heavy duty compressor.

If you are on a tight budget it might be best to invest in a CO2 Tank and get it filled at the gas station.
High pressure, no humidity, etc and long time of use.

Alternatively if you can take the noise any industrial compressor( 1.4hp ~) will do, get them at the local DIY store.
Best put them in the garage and feed a line to your workstation.

If your going to do the tankt route, go Nitrogen....Nitrogen i sa larger molecule, meaning you wont have any leaks, and also less expensive.....

I use nitrogen in the airbag setup in my car, way less problems then air or CO2

Well after looking at varouis compressor i'm very close to getting this one instead.

seems like everything i need in one package, water trap and regulator (and at a reasonble price) i know about the pulsing airflow. But i'll be mostly using it for covering large areas. How noticeable are the pulses? will be like start-stop-start-stop on the actual flow of paint?
