In need of Uber Glue!
Hi guys,
A resin nacelle pylon on my Pioneer conversion keeps breaking, and no amount of superglue/CA will hold it. The slightest bend or handling snaps it off. Can anyone recommend a relatively fast acting glue for this? I'm wondering if a two part epoxy might be the way to go.
Thanks,
Robert

Pin it:
Drill a hole the same diameter of the pin ( a shortish metal rod), insert and glue the rod into the hole.
drill a hole into the other part larger than the pin. Mix some Aves (2-part putty) and put it in the hole, insert the pin, glue the mating surfaces with superglue. When the aves cures, it should be solid as a rock.

Lawn an Garden GOOP........Wallace World carries it........I've used it to glue the crank pins onto steam locomotive drivers.......pin for a mechanical joint reinforce with goop for a chemical one....its also a tad flexible......makes it tough.....

Pinning is your best bet for strength. I pin nearly everything when working with resin, even small winglets. I just don't want those to pop out, and the big parts will be too heavy for adhesives - you need mechanical strength.

I've never used the Aves. Where can I get it and what is it?
