I need a little help please. I got some enterprise-b blueprints and got
them enlarged to the exact proportions of the studio model.
What should be the next step? A friend of mine advised that I should
get some tracing paper and trace the outline. Is he correct?
I need some advise. I would like to build a studio model.

Sounds like this is the first time you've ever done a scratchbuild like this.
I'd highly recommend this book. It'll take you through everything you need to make a detailed plan of attack from a set of orthos. Trust me, you really want this book.
I'd also recommend a look through these sites:
Lasse Henning's Star wars scratchbuilding page. Amazing and extremely informative. One of the best, if not the best, sites out there for aspiring S-F scratchbuilders.
David Merriman's article on CultTVMan. Read the disclaimer first: some find his opinions a bit grating. That is neither here nor there for me personally: the information is very good, I'd just caution you on his eagerness to spend other people's money when it comes to materials.
