I'd say the regulator. I could be (and probably am) wrong

Er, IIRC I did regulator then moisture trap. Now a days I have both in one.

I do mine the other way.

I got a combined regulator/water-trap with and extra inline filter.

I think I'm going to go with regulator first as the instructions on the regulator are pretty clear about doing your best to avoid unnecessary fittings that can block airflow going in.

If anyone can come up with a reason not to do it this way, I'm all ears.
