Finally, I can fire those paint shakers I hired!

Seriously, though, that looks like a good idea. The only thing I would worry about is making acrylics too "bubbly." That can be a problem for some of them. You have to wait for a while for the paint to settle, like a Guinness.

I haven't had any troubles with the paint getting too bubbly. I switch it on, get my airbrush setup, and by that time, it's plenty shook up.
