Where to buy online?

Post by Devin »

I'm in need of a wire wrapping tool, and maybe some resistors and LED's just to round out an online order. What's the recommendation for a quick shipping online source? I just visited three local Radio Shacks and asked about wire wrapping tools and they looked at me like I was speaking Latin.

Thanks,

Radio Shack has a very nice wire wrap tool. Maybe you can bring this web page to them. If they can read, maybe they can find it for you. Theirs is a really nice wrap/unwrap tool, and the cheapest as well. I have a couple of these; best hand wrapper I've used, but I bought them years ago - I'm shocked that they're almost $50. For $7, the Radio Shack tool is a great substitute.

I've used All Electronics (www.allelectronics.com) a few times with good results. They send a hardcopy catalog occasionally, it's always fun to look through.
