Decal Safe Sealant

I've been searching the forums and can't find the answer I'm looking for. Chances are I've probably seen the answer, but didn't realize it. I just finished a modified starfury model called "Armored Glory". I've submitted it to be posted in the readers gallery, and it should post soon. I used Krylon finisher after the final painting. After I set the decals I tested the same Krylon finisher on a decal, and it destroyed the decal.
My question is:1)What would be a good finisher/sealer that I could use to seal the final coat of paint as well as use it to seal my decals with out damaging them?2) Where would be a good site to order it from?( There are no hobby shops in my area of Georgia, so I would have to order it on line)?
I'm starting a Thunderbolt model, and I've got all custom decals for it. A warning that came with them said that Krylon would damage them. When I applied the decals on my starfury they went on the Krylon finisher just fine, but I couldn't use the Krylon finisher on them. I appriceate any help on what to use and where to order it from. Keep an eye out for my "Armored Glory" starfury in the readers gallery, and let me know what y'all think.

Either Testors or Tamiya clear coats would be fine. Krylon UV resistant Matte would should work, I use it to seal decals on the sheet all the time.

I would put a coat of Future on to seal the decals, then spray a matte sealer of some sort. I've recently discovered that Polly Scale flat is dead flat run through an airbrush. If no AB then one of the above mentioned.

What about using the Krylon over the final coat, then airbrushing the future over the entire model after applying the decals,and weathering.
I found a can of Testors Dull Coat on the Micro-Mark web site. Would that also work on top of the Krylon. I'd hate to throw away the Krylon cause it's still nearly a full can. I'm newly returned to modeling after a 15+ year absence and are thankfull for any advise that's given. I've been reading about air brushing future and like the idea of it. I used it to maintain a perfect sheen on my inspection boots when I was in the Marines. Once again thank you for any help.

Many of the rattlecans are much too hot for decals. You can protect them by applying a bit if Future over the decals - it doesn't have to be too thick, but a good consistent coat.

Also, apply the Krylon in very thin layers. Don't flood the model. In modeling, more is pretty much never better.

When I airbrush the future on,should I dilute it with water or airbrush thinner? would it be too thick to spray it un-diluted? Once again thank you for all the advice you're giving.

You can spray un-diluted. There's a whole sticky thread about Future.
Practice first! Paint an old defunct model a nice flat base color and then practice. I usually drop the air pressure a bit. Also, two or three thin coats are better than one thick one.
