Howdy--
I've got two 15-year-old Monogram decals, on what looks to be thick, glossy film. They are for the First Lunar Landing model. I'm refurbishing the lunar module (which I built 15 years ago...) and am finally going to add those decals.
The decals are in very good shape, not yellowed or anything. Should I take special care with them? The only thing I could think of doing would be giving them a coat of Future before using them--or would that be a bad idea?
Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks
Jeff

Re: Using old decals
Jeff, you answered your own question. Future will work to keep the decals from shattering. Microscale Liquid Decal Film in the little white bottle is the "store-bought" solution but Future is usually just as good and gives the decals a nice shine. One coat should do the trick; two would be good insurance but will increase the thickness of the decal.jgoldader wrote:Howdy--
