Any paper towels out there that don't leave fibers all over?

I'm looking for a good brand of paper towels that doesn't leave those stupid fibers all over my projects. Only reason this is in finishing is cause I use paper towels to wipe away the excess weathering stuff.

Hmm. I'd look for some of the microfiber towels you can clean afterward, or use rags from an old pillowcase or similar material for this final stage. It's not worth the paper route, I think.

I use an old, white cotton tee shirt. I hand wash it in the sink and dry it in the dryer (along with all my bench rags) after each project to cut down on lint.

I use round paper coffee filters. They're inexpensive and as close to lint-free as anything you can buy in an ordinary store.

Paper towels are evil and must only be brought forth for a nasty mess. :wink:

The coffee filters has worked for me once when my rags were in the wash, of all silly places.

I use a lot of laparotomy sponges...

(helps to have a wife that's a doc)

I use the blue towels from trauma/surgery kits(friend of mine works at a hospital). Highly absorbant and lint free.
Did you eat your Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs this morning?

Odd... so do I...

The re-usable paper towels, Bounty Super duty IIRC, leave less residue due to the tighter weave and longer fibers.

I like using Kimwipes for all but the most delicate work (they can be a little abrasive). They are the greatest for cleaning up washes.
