Would anyone know if there is a replacement for the old 7441 BCD to Decimal Decoder ic?
Thanks...

Try a search for "BCD decimal" on Mouser. Looks to be several options.

Seems like BCD-to-decimal decoders are fairly common in the current "Nixie clock" fad, too - so you might find some info there.

LOL! So happens I have one of them 7441s chips left in my parts rack.

Became obsolete back in the 90s and I had to do a serious re-design from a 5 step chaser circuit now resulting the 3 step WWB TOS Warp circuit board with a 4017.

I don't think I'll ever use it.

A friend had suggested that I pick up a copy of the Starfleet Assembly Manuals 1.2.and 3. Looks like a great reference book but the main circuit in the book for led lighting and such uses a 556, 7490 and a 7441 ic chip.
