Any suggestions on the best way to do an acrylic wash?
I haven't modeled in years and my recent experiments had made ugly results.
What's the best method for an acrylic wash?

What I have used is W&N water colors. I do it over a kit that has been gloss coated (be it future or what ever) for I find that a gloss coat works the best.
The thing is... you control on how thin to make your wash.
I have seen someone in my club make a wash, just short of the thickness of mud, put it on and wipe it off with a damp cloth (windex). Did it on the grill of a car and a plane.
Looked great.
