Best material for making booth?

I have a social display nearing around soon. I need to make a model of any of the edifices landmarks in UK or Boston.
Any thoughts on what i may as well do and which material is best for making the models other than thermopile?

Depends on the shape of the building. What scale/size do you need it to be? What exact building(s) do you need to make? Post links/pics so we can see what you need to create.
