With my local hobby store closing (*sob!*) I'm now looking for a commercially available primer for fine detailed models. I've normally used Tamiya Fine Primer and anything that might be somewhat usable in that fashion and available at Walmart, Meijer, or any Hardware Store would be appreciated. Thank you!
I'm still a fan of the cheapest spray primer at Walmart, even though it's no longer $1. It's quite thin (which would normally be a bad thing, but it's perfect for models).
I use the same primer as Rog apparently and have no complaints. We to lost out LHS some time ago and I have had to find other resources or sources. I am mail-ordering a lot more supplies than I used to. It takes a bit of planning and getting used to but it works.
Please pray for America, she is still sick !!! Stay Safe, Mask Up Andy_USA
Dupli-color #1699 sealer primer.
I buy it at local big box store but you can get it at many auto parts and Amazon.
It's a very fine spray, seals, and you can use almost paint over it.
Will not cover details. Good stuff.
