Has anyone used Retr0brite to restore yellowed clear resin?

Got a question about techniques, materials or other aspects of physically building a model? This is the place to ask.

Has anyone used Retr0brite to restore yellowed clear resin?

Post by TurkeyVolumeGuessingMan »

I bought a garage kit from E2046 last year. It's Saber from Fate Zero with a clear dress. The clear resin parts came a bit yellowed. I've gathered ingredients for Retr0brite to give it a shot this weekend because it's supposed to be sunny. Has anyone tried this? I've never used Retr0Brite before. I know it works on ABS plastic. I just don't know about resin.

One day I was walking and I found this big log. Then I rolled the log over and underneath was a tiny little stick. And I was like, "That log had a child!"

I don't expect it would work on resin as the yellowing mechanism is different.
