Kool Shade

I know this is probably a dead end subject. Kool Shade has been off the market now for like 15 years and there's been no real replacements I am aware of. I think since 2008 or 2009? I know the pain of trying to buy the "real thing" is extremely costly. I think it's something like $1,000.00 a square foot or something like that? That's what I was told in the RPF a couple years back and it could be even more now for all I know? I'm looking into it for a project but I'm not too sure at this time how much I need? I think sometime back someone in the RPF replicated it 3d printing it and I'm not sure if any other attempts have been made like having it photo etched or something to replicate it has been attempted? In any case, my options are limited I think? I can only think of one person to contact, but I think it would still be a costly purchase. I'm just putting my feelers out and see what happens?
