Post by BERT aka MODEL MAKER »

I want to spray a clear flat (model master) on my Polar lights jupiter 2 decks to reduce the glossy brown. However, the control consoles molded into the deck are painted with pale green acrylic also model master, can i safely use this clear flat laquer without harming the acrylic portion of the deck ?thanks for any help :D

My experience was bad in this regard. Though, if you have a good clear acrylic glosscoat and apply very light lacquer coats you might be OK.

Is anyone else able to chime in?

I think I'd just go with Tamiya acyrlic flat base mixed with Future, works great as a flat coat, and it's acylic, so no concerns about compatibility.
Stand back, I don't know how big this thing gets.
