Light Dusting ???

Post by starmanmm »

Ok, I know this will sound dumb, but I am not sure exactly what this means?

My current understanding is that you take a color and thin it out (may be allot?) and spray it about 6" to 8" away from the kit.

Is this correct?

Or is it you just spray the color from a distance? But if you go this way, don't you risk the possibility that the paint will dry before touching the kit?

I always thought that "dusting" meant that you make short, quick strokes with the airbrush so that only a small amount of paint is applied with each pass.
